Barbie in a can?? How cute!!! - A beauty post

I collect special edition African-American and ethnic Barbie dolls, and when I saw this, I thought it was the cutest thing ever. Stila the cosmetics company released a special edition paint cans so you can create the iconic looks of Barbie.

The can's are $40 each, and they include: eyeshadow, blush, a lip color, and mascara/or eyeliner.

The Cardigan

No matter where you look, any store, every color, the cardigan is definitely an item you cant miss this season. The great thing about the cardigan, is that you can dress up it or down - and it looks great on everyone. So I created a couple of outfits (thanks to one of my favorite sites www.polyvore.com) on different ways you can rock The Cardigan this season.

FOR WORK - I think this is a FABULOUS way to wear the cardigan at work. I paired this look with a frilly feminine blouse, a floral pencil skirt, some killer peep toe booties, and pearls on the wrist and ears to complete the look.

 

FOR PLAY - I thought this look was so fun and cute. I was inspired the boyfriend jean trend thats hitting the streets now. Pair with a colorful tank, funky accessories, and ballet flats, and there you have it. A perfect look for a day out shopping, or lunch with the girls

FOR NIGHTS OUT IN THE CITY - Whose says you can't be sexy and fly in cardigan? They lied! Check this out... If you pair the cardigan up with a colorful dress, gladiator heels and some fly accessories, trust you will be a SHOW STOPPER!

I love shoes.. love, love, love them! I can talk, blog, read about them everyday. Matter of fact, I should have dedicated this blog to shoes alone (but I do love clothes and handbags as well, so I couldn't). The key items to remember this spring are:

• Natural finish - make-up that looks as if you have nothing on
• Smoky eyes - but with soft neutrals, browns, bronzes, etc.
• Thick, and long eyelashes (real or fake - doesn't matter)
• Pastel eyeshadow and blushes
• Soft colors on lips, peaches, nudes, apricots

As you can see, its all about softness and femininity this spring and THANK GAWD, because the bright red lipstick was killing me.
